A Bit About Me

Unleashing Your Full Potential: A Holistic Approach to Leadership

For over two decades, I've been dedicated to guiding individuals and organizations toward their highest potential. I'm Mudita Rastogi, and my journey as a leadership coach is deeply rooted in a multifaceted background that includes being a licensed therapist, a professor, and a certified executive and career development coach. This unique blend of experience allows me to offer a truly holistic and impactful approach to leadership development.

Coaching for Impactful Leadership and Career Advancement

My passion lies in partnering with ambitious professionals to help them navigate complex career transitions and achieve their next level of success. With over 20 years as the owner of a thriving private coaching, therapy, and consulting practice, I've provided executive coaching and supervision to foster wellness and growth in diverse clients, helping them build stronger relationships in both personal and professional settings. Whether you're aiming for a C-suite role or seeking to enhance your influence, my outcome-driven coaching style is designed to help you clarify your vision and develop actionable strategies.

Leadership Across Diverse Settings

My expertise isn't confined to a single arena. I have a strong track record of building and leading organizations, fostering inclusivity, and delivering complex outcomes. As the Department Chair of the MSMFT program and Clinical Professor at The Family Institute at Northwestern University, I've demonstrated strategic leadership, fostering a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and excellence. I successfully launched an online branch of the program, growing it by 3.5x in just three years, while also refining curriculum, mentoring faculty and students, and managing stakeholder relations.

Prior to this, as the Program Director for the AAMFT Minority Fellowship Program, I created strategic leadership to revamp and strengthen a vital program aimed at addressing mental health disparities and training a workforce for underserved communities. My efforts sharpened the program vision and strategy, leading to new grants, increased funding, and expanded fellowship opportunities. I also mentored doctoral and master's fellows, nurturing their training and leadership potential. My experience extends to serving on the Board of the Kenneth Young Center, providing strategic leadership in guiding non-profits through business and governance issues.

Embracing the "Happy Leader" Model (Copyrighted)

While details of the Happy Leader model are proprietary and copyrighted, its essence lies in understanding that true leadership effectiveness stems from a foundation of personal well-being and fulfillment. My approach integrates principles that empower leaders not just to succeed professionally, but to thrive personally, fostering sustainable success and positive impact.

Championing Culturally Diverse Leaders and Women

A significant part of my professional journey has been dedicated to understanding and addressing the unique needs of culturally diverse leaders and women. My research and publications include extensive work on families, couples, relationships, trauma, and global mental health, with a specific focus on South Asian communities. As a professor, I built and taught numerous graduate-level courses in diversity, and my work with the AAMFT Minority Fellowship Program was directly aimed at training a workforce to serve underserved communities. This background provides me with a nuanced appreciation of difference, inclusion, and the needs of diverse populations, allowing me to offer culturally competent coaching that truly resonates.

Let's Connect

My passion is to help you unlock your full potential and achieve meaningful growth. Whether you're seeking to enhance your leadership skills, navigate career transitions, or strengthen your organization's dynamics, I'm here to partner with you. I'm actively seeking consulting, coaching, Board opportunities, and mentoring partnerships to leverage my expertise and give back meaningfully.
